Mr Peter Glasman is a consultant ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon. He is a specialist in treating medical and surgical diseases of the eye, and a subspecialist in treating problems with eyelids, the orbit (eye socket) and tear duct.

He is the lead consultant for the oculoplastics service at Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral, and also heads the acute ophthalmology service. that is, the management of patients with urgent or emergency eye problems. He therefore has a broad range of practice and offers consultations privately for most eye problems, practising at Spire Murrayfield Hospital, Wirral.

He trained as a registrar in ophthalmology in Liverpool and Sheffield for 8 years before undertaking fellowships in oculoplastic surgery in Leicester and Manchester. He has been a consultant at Wirral University Teaching Hospital since 2018. He has lectured and presented at national and international conferences, including the Royal College of Ophthalmologists Annual Congress, the British Oculoplastic Surgeons Society and the European Society of Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
